City launches two vaccination centers with registration available over phone
City of San Antonio will be setting up two additional no-cost COVID-19 vaccination sites on the south and west side of the city. Registration will be available starting on Monday, January 11th over the phone for these locations for those who don’t have a computer or access to the internet.
Just a reminder that you need an appointment in order to be vaccinated. They’re not taking any walk-ins.
The location on the South Side will be at WellMed Elvira Cisneros Senior Community Center (517 SW Military Dr, San Antonio, TX 78221) with registrations being taken over the phone by calling 1-833-968-1745
The West Side location will be at the Alicia Treviño López Senior Community Center (8353 Culebra Rd, San Antonio, TX 78251) giving vaccinations to eligible people. Those in the area can schedule an appointment over the phone by calling 1-833-968-1745
The hours for this site will be 8 a.m. till 5 p.m. but could be subject to change.
The dedicated phone line can be busy but keep trying. There are confirmation of people getting through and registered.
