Cibolo Fire Department Unveils New Brush Trucks to Enhance Wildfire Response

CIBOLO, TX – September 6, 2023* – The Cibolo Fire Department has taken a significant step towards bolstering its wildfire response capabilities with the acquisition of two cutting-edge brush trucks. These robust vehicles are custom-built to navigate rugged terrains, access remote areas, and rapidly respond to wildland and brush fires, ensuring the safety of Cibolo’s citizens and properties.

In just their first week of service, these new brush trucks have already proven their worth, providing vital assistance with their combined 900-gallon water capacity. This enhanced firefighting capacity will be crucial in tackling wildfires and ensuring that the city remains well-protected in the face of such natural disasters.

The Cibolo Fire Department is inviting the community to get up close and personal with these new additions to their fleet at the upcoming Fire Station #2 Open House on Saturday, September 16, 2023, from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
