SAN ANTONIO, Texas (July 8, 2026) – It’s time to break out the black and white spots. To celebrate its 80th anniversary, Chick-fil-A is bringing back its fan-favorite Cow Appreciation Day®, giving customers the chance to score a free entrée simply by dressing like a cow.
The one-day celebration takes place Tuesday, July 14, from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants nationwide.
Customers who visit a participating restaurant wearing cow-themed attire can receive one complimentary entrée, with breakfast and lunch or dinner options available while supplies last. The promotion is valid for guests dining in, carrying out, or using the drive-thru. The offer is not available through the Chick-fil-A App or delivery services.
Breakfast guests can choose from an Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Biscuit or a 4-count Chick-n-Minis®. During lunch and dinner hours, eligible guests can select an Original or Spicy Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich, an 8-count order of Original or Grilled Nuggets, or a 3-count Chick-n-Strips™ entrée.
Children ages 12 and under who dress like a cow can also receive a free entrée along with a kids’ prize while supplies last. Individual restaurants may have different offerings, so guests are encouraged to check with their local location before visiting.
Cow Appreciation Day has become one of Chick-fil-A’s most recognizable annual traditions, with guests of all ages embracing the fun by wearing everything from cow-print shirts and hats to full cow costumes.
The promotion is available at participating Chick-fil-A restaurants and requires no purchase. Entrée options may vary by location, and the offer cannot be combined with other promotions or Chick-fil-A One® rewards. No substitutions are permitted.
Guests planning to participate should arrive dressed in their best cow-inspired outfit and be ready to celebrate 80 years of Chick-fil-A with a free meal and plenty of family-friendly fun.
