SAN ANTONIO, TX — Centro San Antonio’s Art Everywhere Project will host The Glorious Diary of Herstory, a month-long multidisciplinary exhibition honoring women’s voices through art, movement and storytelling in the heart of downtown.
Bringing together three dynamic San Antonio artists, the exhibition features work by Bria Woods, Sonya Rosario and Barbara Felix. Through photography, film, painting, movement and recorded voice, the show centers women’s lived experiences, embracing storytelling as an act of care, resistance and celebration.
Rather than presenting a single narrative, The Glorious Diary of Herstory unfolds as a living diary shaped by many voices and many bodies. Each work contributes to a collective testimony, transforming memory into movement and presence.
A Platform for Local Artists
Led by Andi Rodriguez, Vice President of Cultural Placemaking, Centro San Antonio’s Art Everywhere Project promotes and creates meaningful opportunities for local artists while supporting art activations throughout the downtown Public Improvement District. The initiative provides logistical coordination and partnership support between artists and downtown stakeholders, helping bring community-centered creative projects to life.
By dedicating space at La Zona to local arts programming, the project continues to strengthen cultural placemaking in San Antonio’s urban core.

Exhibition Location
All events will take place at La Zona, located at 337 W Commerce St., San Antonio, TX 78205, offering a dedicated space for reflection, dialogue and creative expression in downtown San Antonio.
Through visual art, film and embodied performance, The Glorious Diary of Herstory invites the community to witness stories that might otherwise go unheard. In doing so, the exhibition embodies the spirit of Art Everywhere, honoring women’s lived experiences and amplifying voices that continue to shape San Antonio’s cultural landscape.
