San Antonio will ring in 2026 with music, dancing, fireworks and family-friendly fun as the Celebrate SA New Year’s Eve Party and Countdown returns to downtown on Wednesday, December 31, 2025.

Hosted by the San Antonio Parks Foundation and presented by Thomas J. Henry, the free celebration runs from 6 p.m. to midnight across multiple downtown locations, including Market Street, La Villita, Hemisfair and the River Walk Districts. The annual event invites residents and visitors to gather for what organizers are calling the “World’s Largest Dance Party,” featuring live music, DJs, food vendors, carnival attractions and entertainment for all ages.

“This year, we’re inviting the entire community to join us for the World’s Largest Dance Party in downtown San Antonio,” said Mary Jane Verette, President and CEO of the San Antonio Parks Foundation. “Celebrate SA is a chance for everyone to come together, spread good vibes, dance, and ring in the New Year—while uplifting our community and making history for our city.”

Festivities begin at 6 p.m. on the Main Stage on Market Street with DJ Celebr8 setting the tone for the evening. Live music continues at 9 p.m. with Melange, presented by Intensity Entertainment. The popular cover band is known for high-energy performances, dynamic vocals and costume changes that keep crowds dancing through the night.

New this year, Plaza Juarez at La Villita will host the AU Vodka New Year’s Eve Glow Party from 6 p.m. to midnight. Presented by AU Vodka, the immersive experience features glowing visuals and high-energy sets by DJ Men-Yo. La Villita will also offer festive food options, photo opportunities, surprise entertainment and bars serving craft cocktails made with AU Vodka and Mi Campo Reposado Tequila, along with beer and other spirits. Nearby, the Arneson River Theatre will feature DJ Reggie Cruz from 9 p.m. to midnight.

At Hemisfair, guests can enjoy Celebrate in Civic at Civic Park from 6 p.m. to midnight, featuring Soundcream’s Airstream DJ experience, an Airstream pop-up bar, a market curated by The Texas Market and a variety of food vendors. The area also offers prime viewing for the evening’s fireworks display.

Families will find plenty to enjoy throughout the night. AC Amusements will host a kid-friendly carnival in the South Alamo Lot near Nueva and Alamo Street, behind the Magik Theatre, with rides, games and activities available via wristbands or individual tickets. Skate the City skating rink will be open from noon to 9 p.m., along with a complimentary Valero Snow Globe photo experience during the same hours. Yanaguana Garden at Hemisfair will host a Kids Countdown featuring crafts, music, games and family-focused activities.

As midnight approaches, the celebration will culminate with a 14-minute fireworks display presented by Thomas J. Henry, lighting up the San Antonio skyline to welcome the New Year.
