CAVA Mediterranean bowls to expand into San Antonio market

If you build it, they’ll come… eat!

Washington D.C. based CAVA, a growing Mediterranean culinary brand that’s a fast-casual restaurant serving up flavorful customizable bowls and salads is about to take San Antonio by storm.

CAVA will be not installing one but four locations here in the Alamo City.

According to a filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation, CAVA will be taking over Zoë’s Kitchen, which was a subsidiary of CAVA group before they started their conversions. They’ll take over the locations at The Rim, The Strand at Huebner Oaks, Lincoln Heights and Sonterra.

The first CAVA spot will open up around mid-September.

It kind of works how a Chipotle. Customers can choose their bowls and then fill it up with the goods of their choosing.
