Planning on going to the H-E-B tree lighting ceremony Friday, November 19th at Travis Park? Leave the driving up to VIA. The city transit company VIA Metropolitan Transit and the hometown grocery giant H-E-B have both teamed up together to shuttle people to and from the event downtown San Antonio.
When boarding, passengers simply inform the bus/vehicle operator that they are attending the H-E-B Tree Lighting to ride fare-free.
Also note that face mask coverings are required on VIA busses and vans.
The tree lighting event is open to the public and starts at 6pm. For those who want to take their own ride, there’s plenty of parking spots to select from.
The attraction is San Antonio’s 50-foot Christmas tree with more than 10,000 lights is H-E-B’s Christmas gift to the City of San Antonio.
