SAN ANTONIO — Morgan’s Wonderland has announced the appointment of Catherine “Cat” Lorenzo as Park President, marking a new chapter for the world’s first Ultra-Accessible™ theme and water park.
Lorenzo’s appointment underscores the organization’s continued commitment to inclusion, operational excellence, and memorable guest experiences for visitors of all abilities.
“As Park President, Cat embodies the values that define Morgan’s Wonderland,” said Dr. Brent Fields, CEO of Morgan’s. “Her dedication to operational excellence and her passion for creating extraordinary guest experiences position her to lead the park into an exciting future.”
Lorenzo said she is honored to step into the role and continue advancing the park’s mission.
“Morgan’s Wonderland is a place where inclusion comes to life, and I’m committed to carrying that mission forward,” Lorenzo said. “As we look ahead, we’re focused on strengthening partnerships, improving operational efficiency, and making thoughtful enhancements that support a sustainable future for our mission.”
With more than 30 years of experience in the attractions industry, Lorenzo brings extensive operational and strategic leadership experience to the role. She began her career at SeaWorld San Antonio, where she held leadership positions across park operations, culinary, and merchandise. She later served as Vice President of Revenue for the San Antonio leadership team, overseeing large-scale revenue strategies while maintaining a strong focus on guest satisfaction and team development.
Lorenzo joined Morgan’s Wonderland in February 2025 as Director of Operations, where she led efforts to optimize operational processes, strengthen systems, and elevate daily performance. Her impact in that role led to her appointment as Interim Park President in August 2025.
She now assumes the position permanently and will lead the park into its 2026 season, with Morgan’s Wonderland scheduled to reopen on February 28.
