Carvana launching a $13 million southside project
Carvana’s “Project Unicorn” will be installed on the Southside of San Antonio. This project has a estimated cost of $13 million according to two recent filings with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation.
The location at 11245 Old Corpus Christi Highway calls for a humongous 155,117 square-foot project that will be home to buildings that will house a parts department, light repair, painting, detailing and an employee locker room with a gym. This project will be an inspection center for the online car retailer where employees can inspect and repair pre-owned vehicles before they’re shipped off to their buyer.
Carvana is a multi-level used car vending machine. The first San Antonio location off of I-10 and 1604 near The Rim had opened up in 2017.
The company has a similar project activation in Virginia that was put into motion in April.
