After many years of planning, Carriqui at The Historic Pearl is now open!

After 8 years of planning, a new restaurant at The Historic Pearl is now open for business to San Antonio. Introducing Carriqui, a neighborhood oasis that you’ll find the best food and drinks in South Texas. This establishment has a kids menu that includes choice of enchilada, nachos, crispy tacos with pulled chicken or potato and quesadilla.
Now as far as for appetisers go, they have the chips & dips with choices of guacamole, queso, salsa rosada, salsa verde or salsa cruda dip. Now, that’s not all. They also have a selection of others apps that feature nachos, ceviche, gulf shrimp cocktail, chicken tortilla soup, cesar salad for two, fried avocado, quesadillas, Carriqui nachos which are grilled nopales, quesillo, burnt ends and crema. And last but not least, the Carriqui salad which has jicama, radish, lime, and crispy hibiscus.
Now for the main course, you have a great selection of meats from the pit. Let’s name a few. Smoked grilled brisket, beef cheek barbacoa, BBQ goat (Cabrito), Achiote Spiced Chicken Al Carbon and smoked grilled wagyu ribeye. Let’s not to forget about the seafood options like the fish à la pancha, grilled filet à la Veracruz, and grilled shrimp. Yum, yum! There’s three plate options such as the enchiladas de pollo, veggie enchiladas and the piping hot beef fajitas.
