Capparelli’s on Huebner permanently closed
According to local sources, the Capparelli’s at 8822 Huebner Road has permanently closed their doors after almost 30 years.
A few days ago (January 15, 2019), the Italian eatery had recieved a lock-out notice on their front door for failure to pay rent. This wasn’t the first time the restaurant was locked out. Back in January 2018, they were temporarily closed but had reopened the next day.
Owner Gina Capparelli had been working at the restaurant since her teenage years when it was owned by her late father.
The restaurant served up scrumptious italian food and pizza and had a three out of five star on Yelp.
Each of the five Capparelli’s restaurants in San Antonio is individually owned and are still operational
