A look at the website for Ice Cube’s 3-on-3 basketball league, BIG3 no longer includes a stop in San Antonio. The BIG3 game was originally set on August 18th in San Antonio, TX at the AT&T Center.

The changes make way for plans that will feature all six teams to be hosted inside the American Airlines Center on Saturday, August 17th in Dallas, TX with a festival style atmosphere throughout the weekend. This shift comes after an announcement from BIG3 co-founder Jeff Kwatinetz.

“As a league, we want to continue to be innovative and provide our fans with a truly first-class experience, and there is no better way than this groundbreaking festival and celebration of basketball,” said BIG3 co-founder Jeff Kwatinetz. “This will be a star-studded entertainment event with world-class musicians and athletes in a beautiful city with a rich basketball tradition.”

After the game in Dallas, the BIG3 will continue in New Orleans at the Smoothie King Center for the 2019 Playoffs.
