Things will certainly look and sound different going into 2021.
Typically people will be ringing in the new year by popping off fireworks. Bexar County commissioners had approved a proposal Tuesday banning the sale and use of restricted fireworks through the beginning of 2021.
Fire Marshal Louis Chris Lopez III had submitted the proposal after the Texas Forest Service conducted a study and said that there is a high risk of fire through the remainder of December going into January 2021 due to little rain and drought conditions in the county.
The topic was covered in the Bexar County Commissioners Court agenda.
