On Tuesday afternoon during their daily COVID-19 briefing, Bexar County Judge Nelson Wolff said that there is a significant rise of coronavirus positivity rates at an all time high. Since the climb, he issued an executive order that all bars and similar establishments within the county to close on Thursday, December 10th at 11 p.m.
San Antonio Mayor Ron Nirenberg reported 1,210 COVID-19 cases that brings the county total to 88,196 citizens.
The positivity rate and hospitalizations are increasing. The current death toll is at 1,397.
