SAN ANTONIO โ Downtown San Antonioโs intimate speakeasy, Bar 414, is turning up the volume this June with a packed calendar of live music performances celebrating jazz, blues, soul and regional Texas talent inside the historic Gunter Hotel.
Located within The Gunter Hotel, a Tribute Portfolio Hotel, Bar 414 will host free live performances every Thursday through Sunday from 9 p.m. to midnight throughout the month of June. The monthly music series pays tribute to the hotelโs deep musical roots and the legendary artists who have passed through its halls over the decades.
One of the highlights of this monthโs programming is a special Chicana Summer Soul Weekend scheduled for June 11 through June 13. The three-night showcase will feature Chicana Soul performances from James Rubino and Vanita Leo on Thursday, June 11, San Antonio soul artist Chavela on Friday, June 12, and Rio Grande Soul artist Myrka on Saturday, June 13.
Additional performers throughout the month include Faith Evangeline, The Dirty River Jazz Band, Chris Guerrero Trio, Chris Cuevas Project, Rosie Flores, Nicky Diamonds and Noelle Goforth.

Guests can enjoy the performances alongside Bar 414โs moody speakeasy atmosphere, craft cocktails and light bites including truffle pomme fries and premium charcuterie boards.
All performances are free for Bar 414 patrons and open to guests 21 and older.
Bar 414 is located inside The Gunter Hotel at 205 E. Houston St. in downtown San Antonio.
Originally opened more than 116 years ago, The Gunter Hotel recently completed a $50 million renovation and reopened in fall 2025 with updated guest rooms, new dining concepts, a recording studio and a vinyl library inspired by the propertyโs musical history. Each guest room includes a record player and a copy of Robert Johnsonโs first album, which was famously recorded at the hotel in 1936.
