The games, part of the Banana Ball World Tour, were announced during the highly anticipated Banana Ball City Draft on Thursday night, making San Antonio one of the key stops on the tour.
The Texas Tailgaters, set to play their inaugural season in 2025, are the first Banana Ball team to be based in Texas. The team will face off against the Party Animals, another fan-favorite Banana Ball team, in what promises to be a high-energy, entertaining matchup. Fans will have the chance to experience the Greatest Pregame in Sports as part of the full Tailgater experience.
In 2025, the Tailgaters will play a total of 33 games against the Savannah Bananas, Party Animals, and Firefighters, including eight games at MLB stadiums in Pittsburgh, Cincinnati, Philadelphia, and Houston. Their season will culminate with a high-profile game at Minute Maid Park in Houston.
In addition to games at major venues, the Texas Tailgaters will also host several headliner home games in Texas cities, including Frisco, Round Rock, and San Antonio.
