The City of San Antonio Animal Care Services is reminding pet owners about their responsibility to protect furry friends in extreme cold conditions. The National Weather Service is calling for temperatures to be in the 20’s.

“Violators face zero tolerance during extreme weather events. Fines generally start at $300 per violation.” said the newsletter from ACS.

Bring your pets safely inside. If that’s not possible, then you can purchase a insulated doghouse or build a doghouse that will protect your pet from the outdoor elements, providing them a warm place.
