Trees in the area will be trimmed by an arborist specialising in tree pruning. People who want to see the progress of the disassembly can spectate via special webcam online.

The disassembly has been approved by the San Antonio Historic Design and Review Commission (HDRC) and the Alamo. According to the Alamo’s website. The roof is two parts. The upper top roof and the surrounding lower portion of the canopy. Those will be lifted onto a flatbed trailer. This should be completed by this weekend with reassembly to take place on Monday.
