Alamo Colleges partners with VIA for free rides
VIA Metropolitan Transit just announced their partnership with Alamo Community Colleges and Our Lady of the Lake University, the first school on the “U-Pass” network with options to get to their classes.
The “U-Pass” was introduced on January 22, 2019 as an all-you-can-ride pass with VIA available to current Alamo Colleges students, faculty and staff and OLLU students. The pass is already paid for and to redeem for a free ride, the user just needs to show their student I.D. to the bus driver.
Many VIA busses include free high-speed Wi-Fi on board as well as the transit centers so that you can spend more time doing the things that need to be done.
