Airline offering nonstop flights from San Antonio to New York City

Texas based airline company American Airlines is now offering rides to those who want to fly to New York City with no layovers. The San Antonio International Airport announced along with American Airlines have announced the launch of a nonstop flight to John F. Kennedy International Airport that departs daily at 9am with a return flight at 10pm.

Studies show that more than 300,000 travelers fly between the Alamo City and the Big Apple according to airport officials. American Airlines serves eight nonstop destinations from the San Antonio International Airport on a daily basis with 26-peek-day departures that reach eight of ten of the airline’s hubs nationwide.

“Before today, New York City was our largest underserved market from San Antonio. This new service makes it even more convenient for passengers to efficiently travel between San Antonio and the east coast for business, leisure, or to connect to international destinations,” said Russ Handy, Aviation Director for the City of San Antonio.
