A popular Philippines fast food joint coming to San Antonio

Filipino fast food franchise Jollibee that has 33 stores in the U.S. is coming to the Alamo City. This isn’t the first Texas location Jollibee is opening, they have a Houston store that opened up in 2013.

It appears that the new restaurant will be located in front of the 410 & Evers Walmart at 5033 NW Loop 410.

The $150,000 renovation will take place in March and looking to be completed by the end of July. The renovation includes a drive-thru, parking, landscaping and interior improvements.

The fast food join will include an array of burgers and chicken with a Filipino flare. Their popular dish, the Aloha Yumburger is a traditional cheeseburger with bacon and pineapple slices.

Other dishes that are interesting include chicken with spaghetti topped with a tomato sauce with sliced hot dogs and other meat bits piled on.
