SAN ANTONIO โ The 44th Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival en San Antonio returns May 14โ17, 2026, bringing three days of music, dancing and cultural celebration to Rosedale Park.
Presented by the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, the beloved festival continues its legacy of honoring conjunto music and the artists who keep the tradition alive.
Friday Night Kickoff
The festival officially begins Friday, May 15, with performances by Jesse Perez y Sus Compadres Alegres, Los Tellez, Santiago Garza y La Naturaleza, South TX Homies, Ruben De La Cruz y Su Conjunto, Los Garcia Brothers and Los Fantasmas del Valle at Rosedale Park, located at 303 Dartmouth St.
Saturday Showcases Students and Legends
Saturday, May 16, highlights the next generation of conjunto talent with performances by student conjuntos from Donna High School, Rafael Cantu Jr. High School and Texas Best Middle and High School champions.
Afternoon acts include Elijah Ezequiel y Los Conjunto Addictz, Fruity Villarreal y Los Mavericks and J. Castillo y Los All Starz.
Saturday evening continues with Ruben Garza y Su Conjunto, the โTremendos Vโ Reunion, Los Cucuys de Rodney Rodriguez, Los Monarcas de Mario y Pete Diaz, Da Krazy Pimpz, Lazaro Perez and headliner Ricky Naranjo y Los Gamblers.
Sunday Celebration and Tribute
On Sunday, May 17, student groups from Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center, Conjunto Heritage Taller, Edison High School and Southside High School take the stage. Afternoon performances feature Waila Mumsigo and Stevie Vavages, DeVozion, Los Estrellas de Oro, Conjunto Cats, Chente Barrera y Taconazo, Juan P. Moreno, Joel Guzman and Sarah Fox y Conjuntazzo.
The festival concludes Sunday evening with Grammy Award-winning Los Texmaniacs and a special tribute honoring the late conjunto legend Flaco Jimenez. Guest artists participating in the tribute include Santiago Jimenez Jr., Dwayne Verheyden, Honorio Imamura, Antonio Tanguma, Miguel Perez, Linda Escobar, Arturo Jimenez Jr. and Gill Jimenez.
Seniors Dance and Community Events
In addition to the weekend performances, the festival will host a free seniors dance on Thursday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to noon at the Royal Palace Ballroom, 3506 SW Military Drive. The event will feature Bene Medina y Conjunto Aguila and Epi Martinez and Friends.
Poster Contest Winners Announced
The Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center also announced Rudy Valdez of Mission, Texas as the winner of the 44th Annual Tejano Conjunto Festival Poster Contest. His design pays tribute to conjunto legend and Texas accordionist Mingo Saldivar, known as the โDancing Cowboyโ and a 2022 National Endowment for the Arts National Heritage Fellow.

Middle School Category: Jorge Gonzalez Lariz of Ronald E. McNair Middle School in Atascosa (first place) and Devani Garcia of Harlandale Middle School (honorable mention).
The Tejano Conjunto Festival remains one of the longest-running celebrations of conjunto music in the country, drawing fans from across Texas and beyond to honor a sound deeply rooted in South Texas culture.
