Guerra Branch Library Set to Reopen with Exciting Upgrades

Get ready, book lovers! Guerra Branch Library is gearing up to welcome the public back through its doors on Monday, December 4, marking the end of its closure since August. The reopening comes with a bang, featuring a revamped and improved space to enhance the overall library experience.

Exciting updates await visitors as they step into the library, including a fresh new look achieved through interior painting, upgraded restrooms, and brand-new carpeting that adds a touch of modernity to the library’s aesthetic.

Starting December 4, the Guerra Branch Library will operate on a revised schedule to accommodate the diverse needs of its patrons. On Mondays and Tuesdays, the library will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., providing an extended window for both weekday and weekend visitors. Specifically, the schedule will be as follows:

– Monday & Tuesday: 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
– Wednesday through Sunday: 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

This extended schedule aims to cater to the varying schedules of community members, making it more accessible for individuals to utilize the library’s resources at their convenience.

In addition to the schedule changes, the library will also bid farewell to its temporary location at the Gill Community Center (7902 Westshire Dr, 78227) on December 1. Holds and other services that were temporarily relocated will return to their original home at the Guerra Branch Library starting December 4.
