SAN ANTONIO, TX (April 23, 2025) — Get ready to dive into a season of excitement! Hurricane Harbor San Antonio officially opens for the 2025 season this Saturday, April 26, promising even more ways for families to beat the heat and make unforgettable memories.

This year, the popular water park is making waves with new family-friendly attractions, upgraded amenities, and the return of its signature lineup of water rides that appeal to thrill-seekers and laid-back loungers alike.

At the heart of the upgrades is Coral Cove, the park’s vibrant, kid-focused splash zone, featuring six attractions designed specifically for younger guests:

  • Wipeout – A gentle mini river slide for first-time riders.

  • Vortex – A pint-sized twisting body slide.

  • Stingray – A wave-like gliding slide for smoother thrills.

  • Ripqurl Racer – A multi-lane racer for friendly, fast-paced competition.

  • Cowabunga – A compact racing slide perfect for young splash seekers.

  • Bonzai Pipeline – A colorful swirling slide with racing lanes built just for kids.

In addition to new rides, Hurricane Harbor has introduced eight new double-decker cabanas, upgraded lounge chairs, and expanded shaded areas—perfect for relaxing between adrenaline-pumping attractions.

  • Bahama Blaster – A towering six-story drop slide reaching speeds of 40 mph.
