SAN ANTONIO (April 23, 2025) – Pullman Market, Pearl’s 53,000-square-foot culinary destination, is marking one year in San Antonio with a festive birthday block party on Saturday, May 3, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. on the Karnes Patio. The free, family-friendly event will spotlight local cuisine, hands-on activities, and live music — all while benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank.

Since its grand opening in April 2024, Pullman Market has quickly emerged as a vibrant hub for local food culture. Created by the Emmer & Rye Hospitality Group, the market is home to a specialty grocer, five quick-service counters, and four full-service restaurants: Fife & Farro, Mezquite, Isidore, and Nicosi — the latter earning a Michelin Guide recommendation and national acclaim for its innovative dessert tasting experience.

To celebrate its first year, Pullman Market will feature a lineup of San Antonio’s favorite eateries with dishes for purchase from The Jerk Shack, Freight Fried Chicken, Ladino, Leche de Tigre, Mixtli, Pharm Table, Southerleigh, Supper, and Pullman’s own Mezquite. Guests can also enjoy live music and interactive experiences for all ages provided by The DoSeum.

“Pullman Market was built to connect our community with local producers, chefs, and food culture,” said a spokesperson for the market. “This event is a way to celebrate not just our first year, but the people and partners who have made it possible.”

The event remains true to the market’s mission of sustainability and community connection — sourcing goods from within a 150-mile radius and fostering relationships between farmers and consumers. A portion of proceeds from food and beverage sales during the event will benefit the San Antonio Food Bank.
